Caitlin Clark Sends One-Word Message to Indiana Fever Teammate
The Indiana Fever recently revealed their 2025 season schedule, which will begin with a matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on May 17.
Following the release of the schedule, well-known WNBA photographer Bri Lewerke posted a few photos from last season, which marked Caitlin Clark’s rookie year with the Fever.
On the slideshow of the post, she added a photo of Clark and Fever guard Lexie Hull chatting during the game.
Hull then reposted the photo, sending a subtle jab at Clark.
“Miss it,” Hull said. “Caitlin Clark, yapping per usual.”
Clark then reposted Hull’s response, sharing a hilarious message to her 3 million followers on Instagram.
“duh,” Clark said.
During the 2024 season with the Fever, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
She led the WNBA in average assists and all rookies in average points, helping her earn the Rookie of the Year award.
Clark was able to help Hull reach career-highs in the stat sheet with her elite facilitating.
Hull finished the season averaging 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 44.1% from the field and 47.1% from three.
The three-year guard had career-highs in points, three-point percentage and field goal percentage.
The two Fever guards helped the team earn a trip to the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016. They also finished the year with their first 20-win season since 2015, capping off the season with a 20-20 record, listed as the No. 6 team in the WNBA standings.
