90 Day Fiancé: Angela Deem Is Calling Herself The Queen Of Reality TV (Why I Think Her Strong Claim Is Right)
I know it is an unpopular opinion, but despite her mistreatment of Michael Ilesanmi, I believe 90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem has saved the franchise. Angela from Georgia had already tasted what reality TV is by signing up for Maury with her daughter Scottie Deem. She knew how to create drama by making mountains out of molehills. Once she became an expert at it, Angela somehow found a boyfriend from Nigeria who became her ticket to 90 Day Fiancé. I’m sure Angela wanted to be on the show since its 2014 premiere.
Angela may have desperately wanted a foreign boyfriend and knew her luck was going to change when she met Michael three years later. Michael was the perfect combination of everything she wanted in a reality TV romance and Angela knew that the cameras that followed Angela to Nigeria were going to love it when she dialed up the drama even when it wasn’t needed. Angela has been referring to herself as the “queen of reality TV” in her recent social media posts. Here’s why I think she’s right.
Angela’s Drama Kept Fans Wanting More
Angela Is A Lethal Entertainment Package
Angela became popular after her 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days debut quickly. To me personally, she was never really a likable character because of her creepy attraction towards a man who was twenty years younger than her, but I always wanted to know what her next move was. I wished to see if Angela, who was flying out of her country for the first time ever to go to Nigeria despite calling the country the “scamming capital” of the world, would get catfished by Michael. However, Michael turned out to be real, and the romance lasted for seven years.Angela’s absurd behavior on the show raised eyebrows, but her loud-mouth and unpredictable nature gave the show several cliffhangers that kept me coming back for more. I watched as Michael pushed Angela’s buttons to get a reaction out of her. I could see in her eyes that her love for Michael was real. She even expressed it right by showering him with gifts and words of love. However, whenever she found out Michael had lied to her about something, Angela became the crass and loud person we have all come to hate.
It was something about Angela being with Michael that turned her into a monster. I want to see if she will behave the same way with the next person she dates. I also feel Angela knew that her ridiculous scenes got viewers involved into hating her online and keeping her relevant. I strongly believe Angela dialed up the drama and screamed more and more to “entertain” them. She didn’t mind if it gave her a bad name. Any publicity was good for her as long as the network kept signing her up for more shows.
Angela’s Lines On The Show Are Still Quotable
Angela Is Iconic For A Reason

One cannot really think of 90 Day Fiancé’s most iconic cast members and not think of Angela, however hard they might try. One of the main reasons for that is the many iconic lines that Angela muttered on the show. They came from her heart, they’re what define Angela the queen of reality TV. On the top of my head, I can think of “I can tote it,”which is what Angela said she wanted an egg from her daughter to get pregnant. Another favorite of mine is “Obey what…obey who?” from her wedding day.
Everyone Wants To Know If Angela Has Finally Been Fired
Angela spoiled her entire 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 storyline weeks in advance when she revealed Michael was missing. Angela ended up telling fans that Michael was in the U.S. The biggest thing about Michael and Angela’s 90 Day Fiancé relationship was his American visa and his disappearance made Angela reveal what fans like me had wanted to hear for years. Since Angela did this, it led to rumors of her getting fired for breaking the NDA.
