The Bachelor 28’s Joey Graziadei was crowned the winner of Dancing With The Stars, but, if he’s not careful, it could spell disaster for his relationship with Kelsey Anderson. Joey, a 28-year-old tennis pro from Hawaii, met 25-year-old Kelsey, a junior project manager from New Orleans, Louisiana, during his season of The Bachelor franchise show. It wasn’t the first time Joey tried to find true love on a reality television show. He made his television debut during Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. Though he came in second place to Dotun Olubeko, he was then cast as The Bachelor.
Joey kicked off The Bachelor season 28 by greeting 32 single women who’d be competing for his roses. Though Joey hit it off with several of the women, he was smitten with Kelsey from the moment she stepped out of the limousine with her signature mane of hair and warm smile. When Joey gave Kelsey his final rose at the end of the season, it wasn’t much of a surprise. After getting engaged, Joey and Kelsey moved to Los Angeles, so Joey could film Dancing With The Stars, but his big win could change everything for the couple.
Joey Is Likely Headed Off On A Press Tour After His Win
Kelsey May Feel Neglected
After winning The Bachelor season 28, Kelsey went on a press tour with Joey, so she knows how it works. Now that Joey has won Dancing With The Stars season 33, he’ll probably be contractually obligated to hit the talk show circuit, along with other appearances to sell the show. Since Kelsey was at Joey’s side throughout the entire season of the dance competition, ABC may want Kelsey to join Joey for the big DWTS press tour. Though the couple won’t be separated, Kelsey may come to resent putting her life on hold to boost Joey’s career.
Dancing With The Stars doesn’t offer a grand prize, so Joey didn’t win money. He won the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy and bragging rights, but there’s no big payday. Instead, the show pays its celebrities a salary, depending on how long they last in the competition. Since this was a job for Joey, it’s understandable that he had to make himself available to the producers who paid his salary. It’s unclear whether Kelsey is being paid to be at Joey’s side, but she’s probably there entirely out of love and devotion to her fiancée.

Kelsey Was Accused Of Jealousy
After leaving The Bachelor season 28, Joey and Kelsey focused on growing their careers as influencers, but Joey’s participation in Dancing With The Stars led to speculation about Kelsey’s alleged jealousy. It all started when Joey interviewed with The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast, where he confessed to asking DWTS producers to partner him with a professional dancer who was “in a successful and healthy relationship.” Joey was paired with Jenna Johnson, who was married to Val Chmerkovskiy, for 10 years. The strange request led some to question whether Joey was worried about Kelsey being jealous.
Kelsey didn’t take kindly to rumors of her alleged jealousy.
In response to the suggestion, Kelsey posted an Instagram in which she insists she’s not jealous of Joey dancing so passionately with another woman. In the clip, The Bachelor season 28 co-star explained she’s secure in their relationship. Kelsey sounded very confident in the clip, but there’s always the chance she’s overcompensating to cover her true feelings. Only time will tell if Joey’s DWTS victory causes problems. Kelsey’s post has 105.7K likes, and her caption reads, “Let’s keep it cute ladies and gents.”
Joey Could Join The DWTS Tour
On The Road
In addition to being a long-running hit television series, Dancing With The Stars is also a live show that tours all over the country. According to the DWTS tour dates website, Joey is already slated to make guest appearances during live shows. Ilona Maher and Chandler Kinney are also scheduled to make appearances alongside Joey. Some of the cities listed as tour dates include Boston, Atlantic City, Detroit, Nashville, and many more. If Joey’s going to be busy traveling all over the country, it’s unclear if Kelsey will be joining him on the road.
If Kelsey doesn’t join Joey on the road, she could be left behind in their new home in Los Angeles.
Joey was living with Kelsey in her old place in New Orleans when he signed on to compete in Dancing With The Stars season 33. They both moved to Los Angeles, where the show films in front of a live studio audience. Joey recently appeared on the Lightweights with Joe Vulpis podcast on YouTube, where he revealed he and Kelsey had decided to stay in Los Angeles. Though Kelsey wanted to move to New York, it’s clear Joey got his way, and Kelsey’s dream of living in the Big Apple was put on the back burner.

Dancing With The Stars is Joey’s third reality television show. He appeared in The Bachelorette season 20, then he was the lead of The Bachelor season 28, and he capped it off by winning Dancing With The Stars season 33. Though Kelsey probably wishes Joey would take a break from filming reality television, there’s no reason to think he’s going to stop anytime soon. After being engaged for over a year, the couple hasn’t even set a wedding date. If Joey keeps putting his career ahead of his relationship with Kelsey, they may never make it down the aisle.
