He was incredibly cute, consistently grumpy, spent 90% of his life on someone’s lap (didn’t mind whose) and, like most terriers, was the walking embodiment of a Napoleon complex. He was very loved and he knew it.”

Samms lives in the Cotswold area of England with her husband, British journalist Simon McCoy. In addition to their rescue dog, Willis, the couple has a labradoodle named Chester. Willis was 15 years old and the actress admitted the senior pup was struggling with his vision and hearing but was still very much a beloved part of the family.
