After both rookies were named WNBA All-Stars in 2024, they headed into their first professional offseason, looking to prepare for a lengthy career ahead.

While Reese is set to join the Unrivaled League, Clark has made it clear that she’d like to take a step back from the court before the 2025 season.

The next time WNBA fans anticipate seeing Clark on the court in a game atmosphere will be the Fever’s opening game next season.

The WNBA announced on Monday, Clark will face off against Reese and the Sky to open their sophomore seasons in 2025.

 

 

Clark and Reese will face off five times during the 2025 season. Their schedule for the upcoming year is listed below:

May 17th: Sky at Fever

Jun. 7: Fever at Sky

Jul. 26: Fever at Sky

Aug. 9: Sky at Fever

Sept. 5: Sky at Fever

The WNBA stars faced off four times during their rookie season, with Clark holding the 3-1 season series advantage.

During the 2024 season, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game. She led the WNBA in average assist and all rookies in average points.

Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She led the WNBA in average rebounds and was the only rookie to average a double-double.
