He ran away from Angela’s house earlier this year and Angela was distraught and had thought Michael was missing. Angela has since accused Michael of abandoning her and fraudulently inducing her into marriage so he could gain legal entry into the U.S. Michael had decided to go missing, just two months after he arrived in Georgia.
90 Day Fiancé star Michael Ilesanmi has put all his trust in God as he prepares to come face to face with Angela Deem in court for the first time since he fled from her house in February 2024.
Michael’s been sharing cryptic messages on social media since it was revealed that he has responded to Angela’s annulment request by asking for a divorce and spousal support.
Michael has claimed that Angela allegedly physically and mentally abused him during their marriage. He said it was one of the reasons why he wanted a divorce from Angela. Michael has alleged that the abuse took place in private and on camera while they were filming 90 Day Fiancé. Michael wants both temporary and permanent spousal support from Angela, according to InTouch and he has asked for their assets to be fairly divided between them. Michael’s request for spousal support contradicted his claims that he never married Angela with ulterior motives.
Angela had already been financially supporting him when he was in Nigeria because he was unemployed.
Michael had a secret “piggy bank” savings account that Angela didn’t know about. He said he was saving money for a rainy day. Meanwhile, Michael also launched a fundraiser as soon as he realized Angela was dragging him to court. He started off by asking for $50,000 and then suddenly changed his target to $25,000. Interestingly, Michael is continuing to raise money through his GoFundMe. He’s collected over $44,000 so far, surpassing his goal already. Michael knows that he has millions of fans supporting him. The fundraiser has proved it.
Michael could be feeling like he’s unbeatable since he has fans by his side. He thinks that the court would also rule in his favor, and he would never be sent back to his country. However, Michael is counting his chickens before they hatch. He thinks Angela doesn’t stand a chance against him. Michael should not be bragging about how powerful he feels and instead wait for the court ruling with humility. There’s no doubt that Michael has 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans and cast members supporting him, but Michael needs to know that Angela is also watching.
